Project overview
The goal, materials, and finished scope.
In August 2026, Floors Now completed a localized sheet-vinyl repair in a Bristol kitchen. Floors Now had installed the original glued Mannington floor about two years earlier. The floor sustained three large tears and multiple divots when the refrigerator was moved during electrical work; Floors Now performed no appliance moving or electrical work for this repair. Because all of the damage fell within one tile-shaped repeat of the printed design, the technician could precisely remove that complete printed section. The sound subfloor required no repair. Using matching sheet vinyl the homeowner had saved from the original installation, Floors Now fitted the replacement with new adhesive and seam sealer. The approximately two-hour repair was selected as the simplest, lowest-cost alternative to replacing the full floor. On this project, the completed repair left the prior damage no longer visible, and the homeowner confirmed satisfaction. The exact Mannington collection and color were not documented, and this outcome does not imply that every sheet-vinyl repair can produce the same match.
