Connecticut service-area guidance
This hub explains where we work and connects you to the flooring services and product guides that can help you plan. As community guides are added, they will feature useful local information and proof from completed projects—not define the full boundary of our service area.
If your town does not have a guide, tell us the ZIP code, rooms, preferred flooring, and timing. Our team will review the project location and scope and follow up about the most practical next step. You do not need final measurements or a finished product choice to begin.

Commercial glue-down carpet replacement
Meriden, Connecticut
July 2026 • Meriden, Connecticut
In July 2026, Floors Now completed a Saturday after-hours flooring project in a Meriden school administration office. The existing carpet was extremely outdated. The crew coordinated furniture moving, removed and disposed of 428 square feet of carpet, performed basic floor leveling, and installed 540 square feet of Main Street 20 commercial glue-down carpet. The project was completed in one day outside normal school hours.

July 2026 • West Hartford, Connecticut • 3 projects
See three July 2026 West Hartford installations: solid red oak over new plywood, Karndean basement flooring, and a Dynamic Rugs stair runner.

July 2026 • Wethersfield, Connecticut
The homeowner was finishing half of this Wethersfield basement and needed other contractors to complete their work before the flooring installation. Floors Now stored the selected material at no charge for several months until the space was ready. Once scheduled, the team poured MAPEI Novoplan Plus self-leveling underlayment on Friday to address substantial low areas in the concrete and used a skim coat for the final surface preparation. On Monday, Floors Now completed 385 square feet of Karndean Van Gogh Gluedown Wellington Oak, giving the renovated basement a warm wood-look finish.

June 2026 • Bristol, Connecticut
In June 2026, Floors Now completed a 396-square-foot kitchen and living-room flooring project in Bristol in one workday. Loose and chipping VCT left an unsuitable surface for the selected gluedown flooring, so the crew stabilized affected areas, installed Ultraply underlayment where needed, and used MAPEI Planiprep for surface correction. Karndean Art Select Golden Kent Ash was then installed before the new cabinets, with two reducers, a stair nose, and the specified baseboard work completing the flooring scope.

June 2026 • Farmington, Connecticut
In June 2026, Floors Now began this approximately 300-square-foot Farmington kitchen project by removing the old tile. When removal exposed an underlying layer requiring professional asbestos abatement, the flooring crew paused and a separate asbestos-abatement contractor completed that specialized scope. About one week later, Floors Now returned, installed and prepared plywood underlayment, used PROMA Pro Patch for localized surface correction, and completed the MSI Andover Bayhill Blonde rigid-core LVP installation. Floors Now's flooring work required two full onsite days across the two visits.

June 2026 • Southington, Connecticut
In June 2026, Floors Now completed a 220-square-foot solid-hardwood replacement across an upstairs landing in Southington in one workday. The crew removed and disposed of the existing carpet, and no additional subfloor preparation was required. Maine Traditions Casco Bay Collection Red Oak Mackworth in Coastal grade, with a matte finish, was then installed using a nail-down method. Two reducers, two stair noses, and the specified baseboard removal and reset completed the landing scope while the stairs remained carpeted.

July 2026 • Berlin, Connecticut
The homeowners wanted to replace old, damaged laminate in their Berlin basement. Floors Now removed and disposed of the existing floor, installed a plastic moisture barrier as part of the floor assembly because moisture was a concern, and installed COREtec Norwegian Maple luxury vinyl plank across approximately 450 square feet. The work was completed in one full day.

June 2026 • Newington, Connecticut
This straightforward Newington project replaced worn carpet in a bedroom and adjoining closet. Floors Now removed the existing carpet, installed new padding, and fitted Shaw Good Move III across approximately 234 square feet. The work was completed in about half a day, with no doorway or transition work required.
