Assign the trade responsibilities
Agree on framing, plumbing, drains, waterproofing, tile and final connections. Complete required supporting and plumbing work in the planned sequence.
Arrange a clear work area
Remove belongings and confirm access, protected storage, parking, keys or codes, building rules, permitted hours and a day-of contact. Keep children and pets outside active work zones.
Protect cure and testing time
Maintain required conditions and uninterrupted curing, inspection and test windows. Plan for the wet area to remain unavailable; schedule tile and later trades only after approval to proceed.
Prevent unplanned alterations
No later trade should puncture or modify the finished waterproofing without coordination. Confirm tile and mortar compatibility and the inspection record before the system is covered.
