In August 2026, Floors Now completed a 936-square-foot commercial flooring project in Berlin for a space being prepared for tabletop gaming and collectible-card retail use. The old carpet had already been removed, but leftover adhesive remained across much of the exposed concrete. The crew scraped and skim coated 870 square feet, used patch primer and Planiprep SC, removed and disposed of 49 square feet of VCT, coordinated a toilet removal and reset, and installed Karndean Opus Natural Walnut WP326 gluedown luxury vinyl throughout the commercial space. New cove base completed the perimeter.

Scope of work

Extensive adhesive removal and skim coating prepared the concrete for gluedown luxury vinyl.

Scraped leftover carpet adhesive from 870 square feet of concrete after the old carpet had already been removed
Applied patch primer and skim coated 870 square feet using 14 bags of Planiprep SC
Removed and disposed of 49 square feet of existing VCT
Removed and reset one toilet as part of the flooring work
Installed 936 square feet of Karndean Opus Natural Walnut WP326 gluedown luxury vinyl with the specified adhesive
Installed the specified 56 pieces of cove base with cove-base adhesive
