The problem
The carpet in this Meriden school administration office was extremely outdated, in a space used every school day. The constraint was the calendar: the replacement had to happen outside normal school hours, with the office back in service afterward.
The crew did it in one full Saturday. Furniture was moved as required, 428 square feet of existing carpet was removed and disposed of, basic floor leveling was performed, and 540 square feet of Main Street 20 commercial glue-down carpet was installed.
Phasing the work across school days would have meant days of disruption. One coordinated Saturday — furniture, removal, leveling, installation — had the office ready before Monday.
