In August 2026, Floors Now completed the flooring portion of a Colchester basement restoration in one workday and one visit. The crew removed and disposed of 866 square feet of old carpet, installed Madoc carpet in the official Coracle color with new pad throughout the planned basement areas, and carpeted both staircases in the waterfall style for a total of 27 stairs. The supplied carpet-and-pad quantities were 654 square feet for the basement and basement staircase plus 120 square feet for the main staircase; those figures include cuts and waste. The verified finish work included 40 linear feet of tack strip, 25 linear feet of vinyl transition, 3 linear feet of flat silver metal, 3 linear feet of pin metal, and removal and reset of 30 linear feet of baseboard. In the gym, the team installed 405 square feet of Advanced Edge Sports Flooring AE400 interlocking rubber tiles in the official Back in Black color, also including cuts and waste. The tiles were interlocked without adhesive over the older underlayment already in place; no new underlayment or patching was installed. The installers moved and worked around gym equipment as the one-visit installation progressed.
